What Is Career Coaching?

Career coaching helps you step back and make sense of where you are in your working life and where you want to go next. For marketing and business professionals, this often means navigating periods of change, uncertainty, or growth, whether that is feeling stuck in a role, questioning your direction, or preparing for a new stage in your career.

I support people who want clearer direction and more confidence in their decisions. Through structured conversations and practical exercises, we work on understanding your strengths, motivations, and priorities, and how these translate into realistic career options. This approach helps you move away from overthinking and towards decisions that feel aligned with both who you are and the market you are operating in.

Career coaching is particularly valuable when you are changing roles, shifting industries, returning after burnout, or starting out and needing guidance. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you see your options more clearly, build confidence, and take practical steps forward at a pace that feels right for you.

As an International Expansion Consultant, I support startups and SMEs in entering new markets across the UK and Europe. These service areas combine market insight, localisation, channel strategy, and hands-on execution to give you clear direction and practical steps you can act on straight away.

GETTING STARTED

We begin with a free 40-minute conversation to talk about where you are right now and what feels unclear or challenging.

 

It’s a space to explore your goals, ask questions, and see whether coaching feels like the right support for you.

There’s no pressure to decide anything on the call. It’s simply a chance for us to understand each other and check that it feels like a good fit.

FORMATS AND PACING

Coaching sessions are 1:1, virtual, and last 60 minutes, giving you dedicated space to think, reflect, and move forward.

Most people choose weekly or bi-weekly sessions, which helps keep momentum and see progress more quickly. That said, pacing stays flexible and can adapt to your work and life commitments.

I usually recommend 6 to 8 sessions to create meaningful change. For many clients, this first block of coaching runs over 2 to 3 months, giving both structure and depth without feeling overwhelming.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Coaching goes beyond conversation. Alongside the sessions, you receive practical, hands-on support where it’s useful.

  • Support with your CV, LinkedIn profile, and professional story

  • Preparation for job interviews, key meetings, or annual reviews

  • Email support between sessions for questions, updates, or quick guidance

  • A written recap after every session, capturing key insights, decisions, actions, exercises, and resources

OUTCOMES AND PRICING

At the end of your programme, we take time to review what has shifted, what you’ve learned, and what you want to keep building next.

You’ll receive a personalised 30-page coaching workbook, bringing together your reflections, tools, clarity, and next steps in one place.

 

Some people choose to stop here, while others continue with lighter ongoing or executive support, depending on their needs.​

A typical programme of 6–8 sessions from £1,140 to £1,520
